Graphical Construction Glossary >> Tools. >> Power Tools >> Dual Mode Sander
Once again the description of the tool just about says it all, and tells of it's usefulness. There is little else to say, except be careful when it is in rough sanding high speed mode. They really shift the material. Watch that you don't dig in too deep. Use a light touch to start off with to get the feel of the material and the disc being used. An excellent sander for taking off layers of old paint, but be careful and use a good mask as some old paints contain toxic materials and all old paint can be very irritating to the respiratory system. I prefer throw away P2 masks for this sort of work.
Switch to a fine pad and fine sanding disc; change the mode to finish sanding with full oscillation, and you'll get smooth scratch free work.
