This is a type of blade that has been long overdue. For years I have used a Makita wet saw for gutting these sheets but it was less than ideal. Slow set up and very messy.

This saw has few teeth, so it won't be like anything else you have used. The material is not normally sawn as it is very abrasive so take it slowly at first to feel how the thing works.

I am not a fan of the very small P1 dust masks, they never seem to fit well for me. I have seen guys take them off after a dusty job and have a white layer of dust around their nostrils. I prefer using a P2 mask which is dearer, but well worth the extra. Use your other PPE (personal protection equipment) as well of course.

If you want a lot less dust then try the fibre cement shears.

Here is a link to a Mary's site that contains a Window Treatment Glossary. I didn't know that there was so many.
I knew nothing about web site design when I started out, but thanks to "my mates at SBI" I've had over a MILLION pages viewed in the last few months.
Thanks guys!
