purlin bolts

Nut and bolt sets specifically designed for fixing cold rolled steel purlins. The bolt and nut heads have the washer formed integrally.

Purpose made bolts specifically for the fixing of steel roof purlins.

Made in quantities to feed a mass market they are consequently very cheap. The bolts are always coated with galvanic type protection and they can also be had with a hot dipped galvanised coating. They come in the two main sizes. 12mm (as in the photo) and in 16mm.

Some of them come with a slightly serrated inner face to the washer surfaces.
