Two flights of stairs in the (dare I say "almost permanent") scaffolding around the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.

On large complicated projects employing many people it is possible to incorporated into the scaffolding flights of stairs that make it for more convenient to give access to higher levels than simple ladder access.

The stairs a supplied as units by the scaffolding manufacturer/hirer and they have standard tread and riser ratios for comfort and more importantly safety. The stair wells are protected by guard rails in the normal way.
