Slip Feathered Tenon
A wide tenon with loose tongues or slip feathers set into the shoulder to give more strength to a standard mortise and tenon joint.

For wider rails that are also thicker than normal. A way to get a lager gluing area and twist resistance where a double tenon may be just too large or inconvenient. The addition of the feathers or loose tongue is simple to do with a power router.
